"It's been almost a friggin' YEAR since you guys last released anything from Datenroku and all we get is the same ol' crap we've already seen!?" My friends, your grievances are only HALF founded, because this re-release boasts scans from the volume itself (High quality to be sure!), extras including character designs and a neat new two-page scan, and brand-spanking new translations... and believe me, some scenes needed it. Let me preface this by saying this was Turtle Paradise and thereby my own first project and first foray into translating, and there were quite a few inaccuracies in the translations of these first few chapters that I have rectified in this version, and it results in, I think, a smoother and sometimes wholly different experience. Volumes two and three will have their turn in the near future, but for now we'll be moving directly on to the fourth and final volume in order to wrap up the series. In the meantime, I suggest giving the series another look-over to get yourselves back up to speed and look forward to the new chapters soon to come. >=3 (You can use Turtle Paradise's online reader to check out the scans! Unresized and EVERYTHING. It's so cool~) On a similar note, Dark Horse recently announced their official intent to publish the series in English coming this fall, so do go out and buy the volumes when they come out! Someone very dear to me and very wise pointed out the fact that sometimes forgiveness is almost a regular, daily effort that some people need to work on. This is true. And in some sad cases, I am finding out that I am one of those people. Even though I know that it might sometimes be hard to do that, I at least feel some freedom in knowing that for myself now, and I don't need to feel guilt. raisedbymoogles	11:23p	Yes, I spent thirty-five bucks for a string of ones and zeroes. So I've lost my copy of Diamond, and GameStop was giving away Jirachis, so I bought a copy of Platinum. Leave me alone, it's my first event Pokemon and it's cute. oh god I am such a consumer whore I also replaced my lost copy of Kingdom Hearts, picked up DDR X (so far I don't like the mix as much as my other ones. A bit too 'urban' for my taste.), and Tales of the Abyss, which I've heard good things about. So far I'm not overly impressed, but I'll keep playing. I hear Luke gets bearable at some point. *omg spoilers* I also chatted with the cashier at Gamestop while I was getting all these, which was worth the price of admission and the being an utter dweeb in public. 'Domestic servant' robot a step closer. http://news.ninemsn.com.au/technology/1025151/domestic-servant-robot-a-step-closer ...and noticed part way through (at 0:35) on a computer that the researcher started up, had a NERV logo in an application they'd written to monitor and control this robot they are developing. Later in the video (1:58), they also demonstrated how it shows when parts of the robot stop working, which look quite similar to the monitoring station from Evangelion, showing status' on the Eva Unita. Lamenting how the poor, persecuted Republicans are soooooo persecuted and Obama and the Democrats are ruining the country and are terrists (dontchaknow) and the illegals are TAKING OWER JAAAWRBS. I'm just... letting these pass without comment. Grampy is Old and Set In His Ways and has few joys in life. It would accomplished nothing to respond. But I'm dreading my next family visit, when he shoves a printout of one of these things in my hands and waits for me to laugh. "Yeah, that's great, Grampy. Let's shoot everybody with more than 10% screentone and leave them for the coyotes. Swell."
